Embark on a delightful journey with our Alentejo Wine Tour! This tour takes you from Lisbon to the heart of Portugal’s wine country, where you’ll experience the rich flavors and traditions of the Alentejo region.
Our tour is designed to immerse you in the world of Alentejo wines. You’ll explore beautiful vineyards, taste award-winning wines, and learn about the winemaking process. We aim to provide an authentic and memorable experience.

We will begin by leaving Lisbon and heading towards the beautiful Alentejo region, specifically Vila de Frades and Sao Cucufate. We will make our first stop in the stunning city of Evora for you to explore and sightsee. After which, we will continue our trip to Vila de Frades.
In Vila de Frades, we will visit the old wine cellars and the ancient Roman village. You will also have the opportunity to indulge in a typical lunch and a wine tasting. We will then take a leisurely walk through the vineyards to enjoy Alentejo’s breathtaking scenic landscape.
We return to Lisbon, making it a perfect day trip to experience beautiful Portugal.

Any changes made after booking confirmation along the tour will not be refundable, and the resulting costs will be considered extras and paid by the customer.
Our tours are spoken in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French.
If you must cancel your trip, penalties may apply based on the total trip price.
Cancellation requests must be made by email.
Before you enter into a contract with us, we reserve the right to change any of the facilities or services described in our brochure or website. We also reserve the right to cancel the booking do to weather and/or other conditions. Any changes are usually very minor and we will advise you at the earliest possible date. If a major change, such as change in departure time, becomes necessary, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible your tours begins. When a major change or cancellation occurs you will have the choice of accepting the change of arrangements, purchasing another available tour from us, or cancelling your tour. If booking is cancelled we will refund all payments made directly to us in respect of the tour price. We will not refund any personal expenses you may have incurred as a result of your booking such as flight payments for land-only tours, travel insurance, equipment purchases, visas, vaccinations etc.
We’ll begin our journey in Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage city with a rich history and thriving wine culture. You’ll visit local wineries and taste a variety of Alentejo wines.
We’ll learn about the region’s unique terroir and the grape varieties that thrive here. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore Évora’s historical landmarks, such as the Roman Temple and the Cathedral.
We’ll also visit local shops and see the local products. Évora is a city where history and wine come together on your Alentejo Wine Tour.
Next, we’ll travel to São Cucufate, a site with ancient Roman ruins and a long history of winemaking. You’ll explore the Roman villa and learn about the ancient winemaking techniques.
We’ll visit modern wineries that are carrying on the tradition. You’ll have the opportunity to taste wines produced from the same land that the Romans cultivated centuries ago.
São Cucufate is a place where you can taste the history of wine on your Alentejo Wine Tour.
We’ll then visit Vila de Frades, a charming village known for its traditional winemaking practices. You’ll visit family-owned wineries and learn about the local customs.
We’ll also taste traditional Alentejo dishes that pair perfectly with the wines. You’ll meet friendly locals and experience the warm hospitality of the Alentejo region.
